Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un sistema de transmisión estereofónico compatible, que incluye un transmisor para generar y transmitir una señal multicanalizada modulada en frecuencia, derivada de las señales estereofónicas de audio izquierda y derecha y que incluye una señal de suma, una señal S de diferencia estereofónica modulada en amplitud en una primera sub-portdora, una versión S' comprimida de la señal de diferencia estereofónica modulada en amplitud en una sub-portadora de cuadratura, y una señal piloto, y un receptor para recibir la señal multicanalizada modulada en frecuencia y derivando de la misma señal de suma, y la señal S de diferencia estereofónica, la señal S' de diferencia estereofónica comprimida y la señal piloto, e incluye un elemento para expandir la señal de diferencia estereofónica comprimida, a fin de obtener una versión reducida en ruido de la señal S de diferencia y un elemento para combinar la versión reducida en ruido de la señal de diferencia estereofónica, con la señal de suma derivada, a fin de obtener las señales estereofónicas de audio izquierda y derecha, caracterizado porque el transmisor incluye un elemento para cambiar la fase de las señales de audio contenidas en la señal S' de diferencia estereofónica comprimidad en 180 grados, con relación a las señales de audio correspondientes, contenidas en la señal S de diferencia estereofónica, y un elemento para igualar el espectro de frecuencia de audio de la señal de diferencia estereofónica comprimida, para que corresponda aproximadamente a la respuesta de sonoridad del oído humano, a fin de reducir al mínimo la intermodulación, en un receptor estereofónico modulado en frecuencia convencional, desde la señal S' de diferencia comprimidad a la señal de diferencia estereofónica, sin disminuir la reducción de ruido percibida en el receptor del sistema, y además caracterizado porque el receptor incluye un elemento para igualar la señal S' de diferencia estereofónica comprimida, derivada casi complementariamente con la igualación de la misma en el transmisor, y un elemento para invertir la fase de la señales de audio contenidas en la señal S' de diferencia estereofónica comprimida igualada.
