Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a sistema mejorado para el secado del heno, que consiste de: un medio que proporciona una superficie esencialmente plana para sostener el heno que va a secarse; una pluralidad de formadores de ducto de abastecimiento generalmente verticales, adaptados para colocarse en ubicaciones separadas a través del heno que va a secarse, teniendo los formadores de ducto de abastecimiento regiones de pared separadas para crear un ducto en el heno, a fin admitir un fluido secador hacia el heno; un medio de canal dispuesto por debajo de la superficie sostenedora del heno, para suministrar un fluido secador a los formadores de ducto de abastecimiento; y una pluralidad de formadores de ducto de ventilación generalmente verticales, adaptados para colocarse en ubicaciones separadas intermedias a los formadores de ducto de abastecimiento, teniendo los formadores de ducto de ventilación regiones de pared foraminosas, separadas para crear un ducto en el heno a fin de permitir el escape a través del mínimo, en forma vertical de cierta cantidad del fluido secador desde el heno, siendo los formadores de ducto de abastecimiento y los formadores de ducto de ventilación movibles lejos de la superficie sostenedora de heno, para limpiar la superficie y facilitar la remoción del heno seco desde la superficie.
