Abstract

Method for ventilating the facade of the building Ventilation facade construction provides the user of the building to make use of a lesser amount of energy in order to achieve the required thermal comfort within the building. The construction is relatively easy and offers the occupant long term gains, thus being more environmentally friendly by reducing the CO2 emissions into the environment and overcome energy losses by limiting the transfer of heat from the internal envelope to the external vicinity or vice versa. Facade engineering is therefore considered of prime importance since it is mainly the largest area in a building to be exposed to different weather conditions during the year.
