The invention relates to the steel surface chemical descaling and derusting, particularly to the compositions of the steel wire pickling solution for wire drawing.The summary of the invention consists in the fact that a solution is utilized comprising ( mass % ):The pickling process runs at a relatively low temperature (10...25°C) within 5-26 min and with the formation on the pickled steel wire surface of an antifrictional and passive film, oxidation resistive in the storage period.The utilization of the solution permits to decrease the heat consumption.
