Description
The invention relates to dentistry, in particular to devices for fragmenting extracted teeth.
The IsoMet device is known, which is an electric saw with a rotation speed of 0…300 rpm. It is intended for cutting teeth and various types of materials with minimal deformation. The maximum size of the disk is 127 mm, the device is equipped with a micrometer with metric graduations for controlling the depth of cut [1].
The disadvantage of the described device is that its construction leads to overheating of the extracted tooth during cutting, which has a destructive effect on the dental pulp.
The problem that the invention solves consists in developing a device for fragmenting the extracted tooth, which would not lead to overheating of the extracted tooth, is simpler to use, cheaper to produce and allows for the integral extraction of the dental pulp.
According to the invention, the claimed device consists of a support made in the shape of a horseshoe, at one end of which a pierced hole is made, in which a compression rod with an external thread is placed, one end of the rod is equipped with a handle, and the opposite end is equipped with a removable fragmentation element, made in the shape of a cone, at the same time a removable plate with edges equipped with four fixing screws is fixed to the opposite end of the support.
This device eliminates the disadvantages described in the prior art in that when fragmenting the tooth, it is placed on a removable plate, and when the rod is twisted, the fragmentation element acts by compression on the tooth, fragmenting it in such a way that the dental pulp remains intact.
The result is that the claimed device is cheaper to produce and allows for the complete extraction of the dental pulp.

The device for fragmenting the extracted tooth consists of a support 1 made in the shape of a horseshoe, at one end of which a pierced hole 3 is made, in which a compression rod 4 with an external thread is placed, one end of the rod is equipped with a handle, and the opposite end is equipped with a removable fragmentation element 5, made in the shape of a cone, at the same time a removable plate 2 with edges equipped with four fixing screws 6 is fixed to the opposite end of the support.
Modul de utilizare a dispozitivului. How to use the device.
After processing the extracted tooth with antiseptics, it is placed on the removable plate in such a way that the occlusal surface of the tooth is perpendicular to the compression rod. When the rod is turned by means of the handle, the fragmentation element acts by compression on the tooth, fragmenting it.
The root and coronal pulp is obtained, which is subjected to dissociation in dispase with a concentration of 0.25% and a quantity of 4 ml, at a temperature of 37°C for 30…45 min. A nutrient medium is added, in an amount of 5 volumes, containing 10% fetal bovine serum. After which centrifugation takes place at 1200 rpm for 10 min, removal of the supernatant, resuspension of the cells in the medium, counting, cultivation and storage.
The device complies with sanitary requirements and standards, being made of stainless steel, used in the manufacture of medical instruments.
