The invention relates to a process for processing the metallic articles surface before applying the enamel protect-decoration coatings and may be used e.g. for obtainng the houshoed equipment (washing machines and electric stoves, vessels).The summary of the invention includes ugreasing, acid treating and drijing, by that the metal processing is realized in the orthoboric acid water solution in which complementary there is introduced at least one alcaline metal carbonate and trisodium phosphate (hydrate).The technical result of the proposed invention consists in the formation of glasslike film of orthoboric acid on the metal surface.
