Abstract

The invention relates to a container, in particular to wooden boxes for storage and transportation of fruits and vegetables.The box includes a bottom, end and side walls made of planks, which are attached by means of metal brackets to angle vertical supports of triangular cross section. The bottom, the end and upper part of the side walls are made of softwood planks, and the lower part of the side walls, adjacent to the bottom of the box - of hardwood planks of a greater thickness compared with the thickness of the softwood planks, the planks of the bottom being fixed perpendicular to the side walls.According to one embodiment the box is additionally fitted with stacking elements in the form of reinforcement bars (7) with beveled at an acute angle ends (8), repeating the angle of the cross section of the vertical supports, fixed from the outside to the bottom (1) of the box along the side walls; in the upper part of the end walls (2) are made cuts in the form of shaped handles (9).
