Abstract
The invention relates to medicine, namely neurology, and is intended for the prophylactic treatment of vasovagal syncopes.The method, according to the invention, consists in that it is carried out the functional brain tomography and are identified the cerebral structures that generate oscillations of the total potential with the frequency of 4…8 Hz and the amplitude of at least 25 µV, with the theta rhythm index of at most 30%. In the event if it is revealed the simultaneous generation of indicated oscillations in the limbic structures, brainstem and cerebellum, it is acted on the region of the left and right cerebral hemispheres projections with direct current for 25…35 min, by placing the anode 1 cm below the Fpz region, and a cathode in the region of the left and right mastoid process. In the event if it is revealed the simultaneous generation of mentioned oscillations in the limbic structures and in the rostrally placed cerebral corticosubcortical structures, then it is acted on the right cerebral hemisphere projection with direct current during 25…35 min, by placing the anode 1 cm below the Fpz region, and the cathode in the right mastoid process region. At the same time, the density of the conducted current is equal to 0.01…0.10 mA/cm2.The result of the invention is to improve the effectiveness of treatment, increase the time of remission and reduce the drug-induced load on the patient's organism.
