Abstract

The invention relates to the field of propulsion engineering, namely to the internal combustion engine exhaust systems.The device for desooting the exhaust gases and reducing the noise of internal combustion engine includes a silencer (1) with exhaust gas input (2) and output (5) branch pipes, in which are placed vertical partitions (3, 4), fixed in the upper and lower parts of the silencer (1), filled with liquid. The exhaust gas outlet branch pipe (5) is connected through a pipe (6) to one end of the inlet pipe (8) with holes, fixed in a filter (7), the other end of which is closed. The device further comprises a package (10), consisting of wire gimp or synthetic material or consisting of metal grids with fine meshes, fixed in the upper part of the filter (7), around its whole perimeter, and wetted with liquid.The technical result of the invention consists in that it is carried out with certainty cleaning of exhaust gases from soot particles at the expense of adsorption forces and, additionally, is reduced the noise produced by the internal combustion engine.
