Abstract
The invention relates to furniture, in particular to the construction of beds intended for relaxation and prevention of degenerative vertebral column diseases.The folding bed includes a work surface, consisting of a middle section and two symmetrical end sections, formed by frames on which are installed cross-bars, under which are installed a central longitudinal bar. The middle section is formed of a rectangular frame, to which are rigidly fixed two bearing legs with wheels, a compressor and a three-position switch. The end sections are pivotally connected to the middle section with the possibility of folding from the horizontal working position into the vertical folding position, the frames are equipped with an articulated support in the shape of &Pgr; and to the longitudinal bar of one of the end sections is rigidly fixed a vibrator. From one side to the longitudinal bars of the end sections are mounted, with the possibility of rotation and movement, a rod bent at the outer end for fixation of the end sections in the vertical position, and of vibration transmission in the horizontal position of the bed through interaction with the longitudinal bar of the middle section.The bed also includes an orthopedic mattress with cross ribs and an inflatable arm mounted between the ribs and connected to the compressor.The result is to increase the functionality and reduce the bed storage space.
