Abstract
The invention relates to agriculture, namely to horticulture, in particular to a device and a process for the manufacture of a mulch strip.The device, according to the invention, comprises a frame (1), on which by means of brackets are installed: wedge-shaped spacers (4), consisting of two plates of a width of 4 cm, placed at an angle; rolls (7) with wire or plastic twine (6); rolls (5) for laying of wire or plastic twine on the soil surface; a grass pressing means (10), made in the form of a triangular shield; a roller (11) of a diameter of 15 cm for rolling the grass, installed with the possibility of vertical movement of its axis (17) in the groove of a bracket (26); a wire of a diameter of 3 mm or a passive blade (12) located transversely to the soil surface at a height of 3…5 cm under the wire or plastic twine; a roll (15) with a polyethylene film (28); a roll (13) of a diameter of 5 cm for the direction of polyethylene film movement; a roll (14) of a diameter of 5 cm for maintaining the wire or plastic twine and polyethylene film; an axle (21) for winding the mulch strip, installed with the possibility of its vertical movement in the groove of a bracket.
