Abstract

The invention relates to a method for rapid determination of cyanides in winemaking adhesive sediments and may be used in the wine industry.The method includes the solubilization of ferrocyanides by treatment with an alkaline solution at pH=11…12, separation of the liquid phase from the solid one, addition to the liquid phase, after its neutralization to pH=5…6, of a soluble copper salt to form the ferri(III)-copper ferrocyanide sediment, its gravimetric analysis, according to the first embodiment, or photocolorimetric analysis at a wavelength of 342 nm, according to the second embodiment, and determination of the concentration of CN groups according to the formula.
