Abstract

There are described the compositions of formula:and stereoisomers thereof, in which W represents a substitutes pyridinium or substituted pyrimidine group bond to A by means of any ring hydrogen atoms thereof; A - represents or the oxygen atom, or the group S(O)n, in which n represents 0,1 or 2; X, Y and Z which are the same or different represent the hydrogen, galogen or hydroxyl atoms optional substituted; alkyl, aryl, alkenyl, alcoxy, alkinyl, alkylthio, aryloxi, arylalkoxi, acyloxi, amino, acylamino, nitro, cyano, -CO2R3, -CONR4R5, -COR6 or -S(O)mR7 where m represents 0,1 or 2′ groups, or any two of the X, Y and Z groups, when they are placed in the vicinal positions on the phenyl ring, or aromatic, or aliphatic, optional containing one or more heteroatoms, R1 and R2, which are the same or different represent optional substituted alkyl group provided that when W represents 5-trifluormethylpyridine-2-yl, A don't represent oxygen, X - represents hydrogen, and R1 and R2 together represent methyl, Y and Z aren't simultaneously hydrogen, Y isn't F, Cl, methyl, nitro, 5-CF3, 5-SCH3 or 4-(CH3)2N, if Z represents hydrogen and Y and Z together aren't 3-nitro-5-chlor, 3,5-dinitro, 4,5-dimethoxi or 4,5-methylendioxi; and R3, R4, R5, R6 and R7, which are the same or different represent hydrogen atoms or optional substituted : alkyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkylalkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, aryl or aralkyl group; and metallic complexes thereof. The given compositions are useful as fungidides, as well as plants growing stimulators and insecticides/nematocides.
