Invenţia se referă la agricultură, în particular la un procedeu de tratare a seminţelor de porumb înainte de semănat.Procedeul de tratare a seminţelor de porumb cu germinaţie redusă include iradierea electromagnetică a lor cu unde milimetrice cu lungimea de 5,6 mm la densitatea puterii de 6,6 mWt/cm2 şi expoziţia de 2 min.Rezultatul invenţiei constă în sporirea germinaţiei şi energiei de creştere a seminţelor.
