Invenţia se referă la agricultură, în particular la protecţia plantelor şi poate fi utilizată pentru combaterea biologică a căpuşelor fitofage.Procedeul propus de combatere biologică a căpuşelor fitofage include infectarea căpuşelor prin tratarea plantelor cu suspensie apoasă de spori ai microsporidiei Nosema slovaka, izolaţi dintr-o populaţie naturală de căpuşe fitofage, în concentraţie de 1000 spori/ml.
