Abstract

The invention is related to a sort of plum (Prunus domestica L.), named Pamiati Kostinoi, obtained by crossing of sorts Tuleu Gras x Queen Victoria.The tree is medium-size with orbicular or sprawling crown of middle density.Skeletal branches form with central axis angles of approximately 45°. The sort is auto-sterile.As pollinators serve the sorts Anna Spath, Stanley, Vinete de Italia, Vinete Moldoveneşti. The fruits are at 25-35 g, oval. The peel is middle thickness, dense, elastic, violet-red with intensive waxy thin coating. The pulp is yellow-green, tender, succulent with taste sour-sweet, contains 19-20% of dry substances, 12-13% Sugar, 0,8-2,0% acidity, 8-9% mg vitamin C. The kernel is middle, oval, consists of 3,7% fruits-weight, is unadherent.Period of harvest is 20-25 september. The harvest is 20-30 t/ha, in some years is 50 t/ha. The sort is resistent at the frost, drought, diseases and principal pests. The fruits are transportabil, the use is in the fresh state and for obtaining of dry fruits of superior quality.
