Abstract
Invenţia se referă la construcţia de aparate şi poate fi utilizată pentru reglarea intensităţii optice a radiaţiei, transmise prin fibre optice în dispozitive medicale şi industriale, precum şi în liniile optice de transmisie.Atenuatorul optic variabil conţine un corp cilindric, în canalul longitudinal direct al căruia sunt amplasate două segmente de fibre optice, interstiţiul între ele fiind umplut cu un mediu optic transparent. Nou este aceea că în corpul executat din material dielectric, perpendicular canalului longitudinal direct, este executat suplimentar un orificiu înfundat astupat cu un buşon filetat, în care sub buşon sunt amplasate liber un magnet permanent şi o tijă de nichel arcuită îmbinată cu el. La capătul liber al tijei, amplasat între părţile frontale ale segmentelor de fibre optice, sunt executate un orificiu străpuns, axa căruia este paralelă axelor fibrelor optice, şi teşituri longitudinale. Coaxial corpului în regiunea amplasării tijei este montată o bobină inductivă, iar în calitate de mediu optic transparent este utilizat ulei de cedru.
