Invenţia se referă la medicină şi anume la obstetrică şi este destinată pentru profilaxia endometritei puerperale la lăuzele din grupul cu risc infecţios sporit.Esenţa invenţiei constă în aceea că se administrează câte 1,0 ml soluţie de 0,005% de imunofan intramuscular o dată pe zi din prima zi a perioadei postnatale timp de 5 zile.
