Abstract

The invention relates to a technology for separation of hard metals from sewage, utilizing waste of galvanic productions. Summary of the invention consists in that it is proposed a process for separation of hard metals from sewage, including addition of an alkaline solution and precipitation of hard metals in the form of hydroxides at pH 4,8...5,4, removal of the formed sediment, where before addition of the alkaline solution into the sewage there is introduced metallic iron in a quantity of 5...10 times greater than the required stoichiometric quantity for Cu substitution from sewage, providing in a single process the complete separation of Cu ions, as well as of Al(III) and Fe(III) ions, the separation of the last being conditioned by the preliminary oxidation of Fe(II) in Fe(III).Claims: 1
