Abstract

The invention refers to medicine, namely to otorhinoloryngology and it is meant for investigating the function of the olfactory analyzer. The olfactometer contains a vessel with a cork-tap hermetically placed into its neck, an inlet pipe with a device for conjugation with the cannula of medical syringe and an outlet pipe, on the outside end of which there is placed an U-shaped distributing tube, onto the ends of which there are fixed olives, the pipes being coaxially fixed into the wall of the vessel's neck. The conjugated surfaces of the vessel's neck and of the cork-tap are made conic. Into the cork-tap there is made an L-shaped channel. The horizontal part of the L-shaped channel is made on the level of the inlet and outlet pipes, and the vertical part - on the lower part of the cork-tap about its vertical axis. In the vertical part of the L-shaped channel may telescopically be placed the gas supply tube, the lower part of which is disposed into the vessel. The forepart of the cork-tap is made in the form of a pen, onto which above the horizontal part of the L-shaped channel there is applied a mark for establishment of the cork-tap in the given position. The forepart of the cork-tap may be made faceted, plane or of other form handy to be caught with the fingers. Claims: 4Fig.: 3
