Abstract

The invention relates to the field of power engineering, namely to processes and devices for fuel combustion in the electric field. The process for fuel combustion consists in mixing the fuel with oxidant, ignition and combustion of the mixture in a rotary transversal electric field with the possibility of controlling the intensity and frequency of the field. Prior to the ignition the mixture of fuel and oxidant is acted upon by a longitudinal electric field, the combustion is carried out by the action upon the flame of two alternating rotary transversal electric fields, oriented at an angle of 90 degree C one about the other with the shift of the intensity amplitude of 180 degree C.The device consists of a burner, a system of electrodes, installed round the flame alternating-current sources with adjustable, intensity and frequency. Into the burner is additionally installed a nozzle, sectioned into two metal tubes, separated between them by a dielectric coupling. The tube on the flame side is connected to the terminal o the first constant-current source, and the other one, on side of the fuel and oxidant mixture inlet is connected to earth. The electrode system represents four spherical electrodes, installed at an angle of 90 degree one about the other, connected to the second current source by means of a high-voltage transformer with two identical secondary coils with reverse winding, to the terminals of which there are connected two in a row diametrically opposed electrodes. The result consists in increasing the intensity control range and completeness of fuel combustion.Claims: 2Fig.: 2
