Abstract
The invention relates to the windmills, in particular to a helical turbine, the axis of rotation of which coincides with the wind direction.The wind helical turbine contains an axle (1), onto which there are rigidly fixed following the helical line with a constant step the blades (2), having in the normal section the wing-profile. In order to reduce the wind retardation in the turbines of a greater length the blades can be installed with different step of the helical line, namely with increase towards the outlet of the turbine.The result consists in increasing the utilization coefficient of the wind energy due to the air speed difference onto the two surfaces of the blade and in the efficient functioning at small wind velocities.
