Abstract

The invention refers to medicine, namely to otorhinolaryngology, and may be used for examining the functional state of the auditory tube muscles to patients with medial perforating chronic otitis. Summary of the method consists in that after connection of the pneumotubometer to the power network, the air tube is introduced into the external auditory duct, afterwards there are effected deglutitory movements and there are graphically registered the curves dependent on the functional state of the auditory tube onto a circular graduated diagram, afterwards it is additionally determined the passive opening level of the auditory tube, the ventilation resistance value of the auditory tube, the passive equivalent pressing level, the momentary ventilation value, the opening time of the auditory tube to one deglutition, the positive residual pressure, the negative residual pressure. After their interpretation in complex with other indexes it is determined the functional state of the auditory tube muscle.Claims: 1
