Abstract
The invention refers to medicine, namely to the operative surgery and may be applied for preparation and removal of the stellate ganglion in diverse vertebrae and sympathetic trunk pathologies.Summary of the method consists in that it is carried out incision of soft tissues in longitudinal direction at a distance of 1…1,5 cm laterally the transversal apophyses of the vertebrae C6-T4, afterwards it is carried out incision of the shawl muscle at the level of the transversal apophyses C7-T3, then separation of the big rhomboid muscle in caudal direction and of the small rhomboid muscle in cranial direction, of the superior posterior toothed muscle in caudal direction and it is removed the medial and posterior scalene muscles in a frontal direction. After separation of intercostal muscles from the II intercostal space and preparation of the II intercostal neurovascular trunks, it is resected the II rib at the level of cervix transition into the rib body with the body displacement in the cranial direction, and of the rib cervix in the caudal and dorsal direction. Afterwards, it is opened the posterior mediastinum for preparation and removal of the rib osteosynthesis and the soft tissues are sutured in layers.
