Abstract

The invention relates to the field of medicine, namely to devices for air ion correction of air in habitable premises and medical institutions.The bipolar generator of air ions contains a fan (1), controllable positive (2) and negative (3) voltage sources, the outputs of which are connected to the corresponding corona-forming electrodes (4, 5), a control unit (6) and an ion current sensor (7). The corona-forming electrodes (4, 5) are installed in the common ventilation duct, and the control unit (6) carries out the by-turn connection of positive (2) and negative (3) voltage sources, the duration of connection of the positive voltage source being changed by a signal of the ion current sensor (7) so that the coefficient of unipolarity may be maintained at the level of at least 0.7.The result of the invention is to increase the stability of air ion composition by changing the air parameters.
