The invention refers to the food industry, in particular to processes for drying sunflower seeds.The process for drying sunflower seeds consists in the convection drying of seeds concomitantly with the application of electromagnetic fields. The convection drying is carried out at the drying agent temperature of 130…135°C. Drying with the application of electromagnetic fields is carried out with the frequency of 2450 MHz and the magnetron power of 1,125 kW up to the obtaining of the product final humidity of 2,5 %.
