Abstract

he roll is used for manufacture of working rolls of the finishing stands, preferably of the wire and small-section mills. The roll contains a shaft with conic mounting surface, onto which it is installed a rolling washer of wear-resistant material, a sleeve, containing a flange in the form of prominences, situated between the washer and the shaft, having an interior conic mounting surface, the taper angle of which is equal to or smaller than the self-breaking angle. Novelty of the invention consists in that the sleeve is made slit along the axis, according to the length of the coupled sector into n equal parts, situated symmetric about the axes of the flange prominences, where n is an integral number (4...6), and the slot width is equal to 0,2...0,5 mm. The result consists in increasing the security of mounting and in reducing the efforts for pressing-out the roll parts. Claims: 1Fig.: 2
