The invention refers to medicine, particularly to psychiatry and neurology.Summary of the method for treating stable anxious depressive states consists in the intramuscular administration of amitriptyline, on the first day 20 mg at 9.00 and 9.30, 40 mg at 10.30, 50 mg at 12.30, 60 mg at 17.30 and 21.00, on the 2-nd...4-th day it is administered 40 mg at 9.00, 60 mg at 12.00, 70 mg at 17.30 and 80 mg at 21.00, and on the next 5...10 days 70 mg at 9.00, 80 mg at 14.00 and 100 mg at 21.00.
