The invention relates to the bio-organic chemistry, to a new biologically active compound, which can be used in medicine.The oxidated tomatozid is obtained as a result of oxidation of the polysaccharide chain in the tomatozid initial product molecule and possesses a long-term antiviral activity.The technical result of the invention consists in expanding the antiviral agents spectrum.
