Изобретение относится к области защиты металлов от коррозии в воде и может быть использовано для ингибирования коррозии в замкнутых системах стальных трубопроводов.Способ защиты стали от коррозии в воде состоит во введении в коррозионную среду 0,35...1,05 г/л гидроксида кальция и 10...150 мл/л водного экстракта листьев березы, полученного путем экстракции сухих листьев водой в массовом соотношении 1 : (10...30) при температуре 80...90°C в течение 1...3 часов, с последующей фильтрацией.Технический результат изобретения состоит в повышении коэффициента торможения коррозии стали в воде.
