Application field: agriculture. Summary of the invention: in phase of maiz panicles formation there is realised head smut plants and damaging percent calculation. The obtained data determinate resistivity group and immunity mark by means of the standard scale, then it is found the prognosticating immunity mark at the maiz complete ripeness phase by means of the logarithmical regression equation, it is compared with the immunity mark of the standard scale and the maiz resistant variety is considered the variety the immunity mark of which is 1-3,9.
