Abstract
Plantele soiului nou sunt de talie înaltă (140-170 cm) şi au o formă elipsoidală. Frunzele sunt mari (45-50 cm), având baza sesilă, forma ovalalungită şi suprafaţa foliară netedă.La testarea prin concurs a soiului, efectuată în timp de 4 ani la institut, roada medie a constituit 36,4 q/ha, iar roada maximă a constituit 44,0 q/ha. Sortimentul materiei prime este înalt. Randamentul materiei prime de calitatea I şi II constituie 90-95%.Materia primă este de tip schelet. În dependenţă de metodele de uscare a frunzelor şi tehnologia cultivării tutunului, după fermentare, frunza îşi păstrează culoarea, nu se întunecă şi nu mucezeşte, culoarea frunzei fermentate variind de la galben până la roşu-portocaliu.Soiul posedă o rezistenţă înaltă la prima rasă a manei tutunului, la viroza petelor bronzate, la mozaicul castraveţilor şi la putregaiul negru al rădăcinilor (PNR).Prezentul brevet se bazează în întregime pe certificatul de înregistrare a realizării de selecţie nr. 5031, SU
