Abstract

The invention relates to the measuring equipment and can be used for measuring the efficiency of the Stirling cycle mechanical machines.The system and method for measuring the efficiency of the Stirling machine include a motor-direct current generator (12), connected to the shaft (9) of the Stirling machine, and a revolution meter (11), placed inside the body (10) of the Stirling machine, and also includes a remote temperature gauge (1) for measuring the temperature of the hot cylinder (2) of the Stirling machine and a remote temperature gauge (21) for measuring the temperature of the cold cylinder (20) of the Stirling machine. The motor-generator (12) is connected to a direct-current source (18) through a capacitor (13), a voltmeter (14), an active resistance (16), an ammeter (15), a capacitor (17) and a diode (19). The system further includes a heating element (4), placed in a heat-insulating body (5) and fixed on a heat-conducting body (3), with which closely contacts the hot cylinder (2), at the same time the heating element (4) is connected to an additional direct-current source (8 ) through an ammeter (6) and a voltmeter (7).
