Abstract

La présente invention concerne une plaque d'immatriculation numérique comprenant un système d'affichage capable de présenter une première image et un rail d'alimentation électrique connecté au système d'affichage. Un contrôleur d'affichage est pourvu d'une connexion de données au système d'affichage et disposé pour mesurer au moins l'une parmi la consommation d'énergie et l'impédance du rail d'alimentation électrique. Le contrôleur d'affichage est en outre conçu pour empêcher l'envoi d'une deuxième image au système d'affichage si une défaillance d'affichage est indiquée par une consommation d'énergie ou une impédance mesurée comme étant inférieure à un seuil défini.
