Abstract

La présente invention porte sur un réseau de paiement longue portée qui utilise un réseau maillé comprenant une pluralité de dispositifs mobiles qui communiquent entre eux par l'intermédiaire d'un protocole de réseau basse consommation. Les dispositifs mobiles comprennent une application qui détermine le plus petit nombre de bonds dans le réseau pour atteindre une passerelle longue portée et achemine des informations de paiement par le réseau maillé le long d'une voie qui réduit au minimum le nombre de bonds. Des nœuds relais peuvent servir à connecter le réseau maillé à la passerelle longue portée. Des transactions de paiement peuvent être lancées par le client bénéficiaire au moyen d'un dispositif mobile comportant une application de paiement, ou par un commerçant au moyen d'une application de point de vente. Des nœuds décentralisés peuvent servir à vérifier des paiements.
