Abstract
La présente invention concerne un radar multistatique à base de méta matériaux et une méthode de sa calibration pour la détection des objets et leurs distances lesquels objets sont considérés comme des réflecteurs électromagnétiques. Ledit radar est caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte un dispositif (300) de découplage électromagnétique placé entre chaque couple d'antenne émettrice (110) /antenne réceptrice adjacente (120, 130), ledit dispositif ayant une forme pyramidale constitué d'une base ( 301) pour éliminer le couplage guidé et d'au moins deux faces planaires (302, 303) pour éliminer le couplage rayonné où un angle est formé entre le plan d'une quelconque face et le plan de la base de la structure pyramidale (300) formant l'absorbant électromagnétique, lequel angle est inférieure ou égale à l'angle obtenue entre l'axe (115, 135) du lobe principale (ill, 131) et l'axe (116, 136) du lobe secondaire (112, 132) du diagramme de rayonnement de l'antenne juxtaposée à ladite face planaire formant la structure pyramidale (300). L'invention concerne aussi une méthode de calibration dudit radar multistatique pour la détection des obstacles et des distances.
