Abstract

Pgpr bacteria play a very important role in the solubilization of insoluble phosphorus in the soil. However, their numbers are not high enough in the rhizosphere to compete with other bacteria in the soil. Thus, the amount of p released by these small communities is generally not sufficient for a substantial increase in plant growth in situ. Therefore, the inoculation of plants by a target microorganism at a higher concentration than is normally found in the soil is necessary to take advantage of the phosphate solubilization property for the improvement of plant yield. The present invention relates to the application of a biofertilizer product based on a solubilizing strain of phosphorus. The latter identified as pseudomonas fluorescence lr1. Likewise, it concerns the formulation process which was included from the start in the process of mass production of the bacteria strain. Tests were carried out and on the stability of the strain in the product and the effectiveness of the latter in improving crop yields.
