Abstract

Invention relates to positioning systems for laboratory photometrical investigation devices, for example chemiluminescence readers.The positioning system (1) comprises a pair of X-axis rails (7), a support plate (8) slidably connected to the pair of X-axis rails (7), a pair of Y-axis rails (9), an eject plate (2) for receiving of a sample well. The eject plate (2) is slidably connected to the support plate (8) and to the pair of Y-axis rails (9). The system further comprises an X-axis guide mechanism for movement of the support plate (8) and a Y-axis guide mechanism for movement of the eject plate (2).
