Abstract

The invention refers to the devices for oxygen and hydrogen production by dissociation using electrical current, and differing in the electrode design.According to the invention, the design consists of the following elements: water (1), housing (2) with slits (3) for inflow of water (1) and outflow of gaseous substances (4). In the housing (2) two wire electrodes (5, 6) are placed whose ends are to provide for connection to the power supply. The electrodes (5, 6) are made of metallic wire, positioned in parallel at a fixed distance to each other, and coiled into a spiral; in turn, the spiral might be flat, of conical or cylindrical shape. The position of electrodes (5, 6) is fixed by means of distance salient (7) on which at a definite distance protrusions (8) are formed.The invention is aimed at improvement of the operating efficiency of the device for oxygen and hydrogen production by way of dissociation.
