Abstract
The present invention pertains to the field of water transport actuators, and it can be used for motion excitation of ships, underwater robotic fishes, motorboats, etc. The objective of the invention is to increase operation efficiency of fin propulsive device. The proposed method lies in making of fin in the form of plate, which is hinge jointed to floating transport facility, and in excitation of angular vibrations of fin. Plate is made with adjustable effective surface area. Besides, effective surface area is changed on finite value in time moments corresponding to momentary stops of the plate and in time moments, when the plate moves through neutral position corresponding to zero turning angles. And maximal value of the effective surface area is set in motion stages when the plate moves from periphery till neutral position, but minimal value - in motion stages when the plate moves away from neutral position.
