Abstract

An invention concerns the aeronautical engineering area, namely, an aircraft self-gripping load clips of the outer free suspension. In order to decrease the flight time, to simplify significantly piloting of the aircraft when directing and placing the open load clip on a load, e. g., a log, as well as to increase the response of opening and closing of the self-gripping load clip (1) of the outer free suspension (3), it is offered the following: to equip the self-gripping load clip with a sufficiently long elastic guide tail (4) having a ballast load and the end of the tail provided with bright colouring; to attach the basis (6) of the initial section (5) of the tail to the self-gripping load clip through an appropriate system of co-ordinated hinges (I), (II) and (III) for sufficiently free deflection of this section by the opposing skew of the load, e. g., log, in the closed position of self-gripping load clip; to apply a fast-response pneumatic power cylinder (8) with power feed from a source onboard the aircraft as a drive for opening and closing of the self-gripping load clip. In order to simplify the suspension and reduce pressure losses of the compressed air or gas, the alternative is to arrange a power feed source of said cylinder near to the self-gripping load clip or directly on it.
