Abstract

This invention relates to the field of folding/unfolding box production techniques and can be used both in construction work to store construction tools and to store and store things in a garage or outbuilding. The purpose of the invention is to create a mobile, safe, reliable, easy, simple, quickly assembled/dismantled box for stacking, storing, and storing things. The goal is achieved by the fact that the bottom 1, side 2, rear walls 3 and lid 4 of the box have rigid profiles 5 fixed on their inner sides, flaps 6, 7 of different widths are formed on the edges and are directed to the inner side of the box, and flexible connecting elements form two parts hinges 8, three-part hinges 9, stiffness hinges 10 and position holders 11, which have the ability to rotate about their axis. A locking mechanism 12 is mounted on one side wall 2, an extending handle 17 is formed on one side of the cover 4, which is mounted on the other side wall 2, along its entire length, and the size of the box is calculated according to the corresponding ratio of width, height and length, which is 1:2.043:1.064.

Description

TECHNICAL FIELD

This invention relates to the field of metal folding box manufacturing techniques and can be used both in construction work to store construction tools, in gardening work to store gardening tools, in vehicle repair or maintenance work, to store car parts or tools, and in computers and other electronics repair work to box the computer equipment. The box can also serve people in everyday life, with the purpose of storing things in the garage or outbuilding.

STATE OF THE ART

As the need for storage and storage of things/tools increases, various, more convenient and increasingly exclusive boxes appear in Lithuania and abroad: paper, plastic, metal, etc. As far as we know, folding paper, plastic and metal boxes have been created and patented in foreign countries, while in Lithuania, as far as we know, metal boxes have been created and patented, but they are not foldable, so it is not possible to obtain the invention created by us with these analogs. the desired technical result.

There is a known Lithuanian patent no. LT6749B, published in 2020 August 10 This patent describes an outdoor lockable outdoor locker in the technical field of locker manufacturing. The cabinet has a cabinet body with storage boxes. This box can be used in the express delivery industry, and can also be used to install near shops for temporary storage of porters.

Although the box has a rain deflector, which directs water and thus the inside of the box remains dry and safe, this box is not foldable, not transportable, it is more intended for temporary storage of things.

There is a known Korean patent no. KR102101853B1 published in 2020 April 20 This patent describes a collapsible packaging box made of paper or plastic for storing various products. This box folds up quickly, but it's more for storing fruit and other food items. The panels of this box are shaped to be folded with elastic cords.

Although the box can be easily transported, the box is not designed to store heavy objects/tools, and the box is not safe, waterproof.

There is a known United Kingdom patent no. GB1217574A published in 1970. December 31 This patent describes a collapsible cardboard box consisting of a blank that can either be built as a container or can be folded for convenient transportation. The walls of this box are hinged to the base, while the box has a blank between the adjacent walls formed with bend lines so that these can be folded inwards to form the box structure.

Although this box can be easily transported or even attached to the wall using glue, the box is more suitable for storing light-weight items and is also waterproof, so it is more suitable for indoor storage conditions.

There is known US patent no. US10766661B2 and no. US2018244424A1, published 2020 September 8 This patent describes a collapsible box made from a variety of materials, from cardboard to flexible plastic, metal, and wood. The box is intended for storing and transporting things. This box folds with a magnetic connection, i.e. i.e. on one side of the panel there are magnets, on the other side are materials that attract magnets. Although the box can indeed be widely used due to its convenient construction mechanism, however, in an area such as the construction sector, this box could not be used because construction also uses metal tools that could actually attract magnets, so if the box were unfolded, it could even tools such as screws are attached, which would cause inconvenience.

Another US patent no. US1769019A published in 1930 July 1 This patent describes a collapsible metal box. The parts of the box are made of plates, almost all of which are turned into heads, and all of which are provided with integrally formed stiffening ribs. The walls of the box are connected by frames, which are formed from a piece of dense wire. The panels of the box fold with the help of brackets. The purpose of the box is groceries and other goods that need to be delivered to the home. So this box is suitable for transporting food products to the home.

Although this metal box is collapsible, the box is not intended for the storage, transportation and storage of heavy tools, it is more suitable for the storage and transportation of temporary goods that need to be unloaded.

There is a known Chinese patent no. CN203921466U, published in 2014.

There is known US patent no. US7931164, published 2011 on Apr. 26, which describes a collapsible portable container having end walls hinged to the base of the container and attached to the lid by an articulated sliding mechanism where vertical displacement of the lid causes simultaneous folding or unfolding of opposite end walls of the container.

This technical solution is not easily and quickly assembled/disassembled, additional tools and equipment are required to lower or raise its cover, which takes a lot of additional time and money.

ESSENCE OF THE INVENTION

The purpose of the invention is to create a mobile, safe, reliable, easy, simple, quickly assembled/dismantled box for stacking, storing and storing things.

The purpose of the invention is achieved by the fact that in a folding/unfolding box consisting of six panels consisting of a bottom 1, two side walls 2, two rear walls 3 and a cover 4, from which, with the help of flexible connecting elements, it is possible to form and unshape a rectangular box, the bottom 1 of which , side 2 and rear walls 3 have fixed stiffness profiles 5 on their inner sides, on the edges they have formed flaps 6, 7 of different widths directed to the inner side of the box, flexible connecting elements consist of two-part hinges 8, three-part hinges 9, stiffness hinges 10 and position latches 11, a locking mechanism 12 is mounted on one side wall 2, an extending handle 17 is formed on one side of it, along its entire length, on the lid 4, which is mounted on the other side wall, and the size of the box is calculated according to the width, height and length the corresponding ratio, which is 1:2.043:1.064.

In addition, the position retainers 11 are attached to the side walls 2, they have the ability to rotate about their axis and carry out the hugging fixation of the adjacent walls 2 and 3, and the two-part hinges 8 consist of two plates of a certain shape, connected to each other, one of which, with its free end attached to the bottom 1 and the other with its free end to one of the side 2 or rear 3 walls and which allows the walls to turn 180° in relation to the bottom l of the box.

In addition, the stiffness hinges 10, consisting of two plates of a certain shape, connected to each other, one of which, with its free end, is attached to the bottom 1, and the other with its free end to one of the side walls 3, and which allow the wall of the bottom 1 of the box to turn at an angle of 180°, and the locking mechanism 12 consists of an interconnected rod 13, two hooks 14 fixed at its ends, the shape of which must correspond to the socket formed in the cover 4, a latch 15 and a lever 16.

The folding box consists of a bottom 1, two side walls 2, two rear walls 3 and a cover 4, which have formed stiffness profiles 5 on their inner sides, and flaps 6, 7 on the edges, directed to the inner side of the box (Fig. 1). The connecting elements include two-part hinges 8 (Fig. 4), three-part hinges 9 (Fig. 5), stiffness hinges 10 (Fig. 6) and position retainers 11 (Fig. 7). Two-part hinges 8 consist of two plates of a certain shape, which have the ability to rotate around their axis at an angle of 180°. The three-part hinges 9 are made up of three plates of a certain shape, which have the ability to rotate around their axis at an angle of 270°. Stiffness hinges 10 are composed of two plates of a certain shape, which can rotate around their axis at an angle of 180° and whose free ends are attached to the side walls 3 and the bottom 1, respectively. to be attached to the side walls 2, having the ability to turn around its axis at an angle of 90°, their shape must correspond to the recesses formed in the back walls 3 and to perform a hugging fixation of the adjacent side 2 and back 3 walls. A locking mechanism 12 (Fig. 8) is installed on one side wall 2, which consists of an interconnected rod 13, two hooks 14 fixed at its ends, the shape of which must correspond to the socket formed in the cover 4, a lever 15 and a latch 16. On the cover 4 , on one side of it, and along its entire length, a handle 17 is formed.

DESCRIPTION OF IMPLEMENTATION OF THE INVENTION

The box folds/unfolds as follows:

Fig. 1 shows a one-piece box lining consisting of 6 panels, which consists of a bottom 1, two side walls 2 connected to it, two rear walls 3, where a lid 4 is attached to one of them. For folding the box, i.e. i.e. for putting it into operational position (Fig. 3), all the walls of the box are placed at right angles to the bottom 1. This is easy to do, because thanks to the two-part hinges 8, they can easily rotate in relation to the bottom l. Adjacent, side 2 and rear 3 walls are mutually reinforced with the help of position retainers 11 (Fig. 7). The position latches 11, which are attached to the side walls 2, are inserted through the recesses formed in the adjacent rear wall 3 and turned at an angle of 90°, thereby performing their embracing fixation. Rigidity hinges 10 (Fig. 6) are installed in the middle of the bottom 1 of the box, which make it possible to rotate the side walls 3 at an angle of 180° with respect to the bottom 1 and ensure the rigidity and stability of the entire box in the operating position. After strengthening the side 2 and rear 3 walls connected to the bottom 1, cover 4 is folded over the formed rectangle, which is attached to one of the side walls 2 with the help of three-part hinges 9 (Fig. 5) and has the ability to turn at an angle of 270° relative to the wall. On one side of the cover 4, along its entire length, an extending handle 17 is formed, which allows convenient opening and closing of the box cover 4. On the other side wall 2, a locking mechanism 12 (Fig. 8) is installed, which consists of interconnected rods 13, at its ends two hooks 14 are attached, the shape of which must correspond to the opening formed in the lid 4, lever 15 and latch 16. The box is locked by turning the lever 15 to the left and pressing the latch 16. Such a lockable box ensures the safety of the items stored in it. The handle 17 formed on the cover 4 allows you to conveniently open or close the box, change its position, push it or move it to another place.

In reverse action t. i.e. when folding the box (Fig. 2) into the transport position, the steps are performed in the reverse order: its cover 4 is opened, the latches 11 are folded back, releasing the side walls 2 and the back 3 walls, which are placed on the bottom 1. At the beginning, we put the back walls 3, then the side walls 2, and then cover with a lid 4.

The shape of the box is rectangular, but it can be of various sizes. In order for the box to fold and unfold properly, the dimensions of each panel must meet a certain ratio of length, width and height, which is 1:2.043:1.064.

INDUSTRIAL SUITABILITY

The presented technical solution, thanks to the flexible connecting elements that have the ability to rotate around their axis and connect the individual panels of the folding/unfolding box, made it possible to create a simple, easy to assemble/disassemble in a short time, safe box structure for stacking, storing and storing things. These types of boxes are especially used in construction work to store construction tools, gardening work, vehicle repair or maintenance work, and computer and other electronic repair work to store computer equipment. Also, this type of boxes can successfully serve people in everyday life, with the purpose of storing things in the garage or outbuilding.
