Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for operating an aircraft landing support system. The present invention relates to an aircraft landing support method that combines a visible real-world environment and pre-stored information so that a safe landing can be performed even under bad weather conditions.
The method of operating the aircraft landing support system is obtained from a first process of constructing a detailed three-dimensional spatial database of surrounding geographical and terrain information of each airport to be landed and a safe landing distance point of the airport, and from an existing aircraft position tracking device. Using the position and direction information, the second process of visualizing the 3D numerical data generated in the first process as an image and projecting it on the glass of the aircraft, and projecting additional information synchronized to the position and direction of the aircraft that changes in real time according to the maneuver The state consists of a third process, which induces a safe aircraft landing by quickly providing the invisible geographic and terrain information necessary for landing in impending conditions such as bad weather aircraft landings.
