본 발명은 광디스크 기록/재생기에 관한 것으로, 특히 디스크의 편심에 의한 슬레드 서보의 불안정을 제거하여 광픽업의 안정된 슬레드 서보를 구현하기 위한 광디스크 기록/재생기의 슬레드 제어장치에 관한 것으로, 트랙킹 에러신호를 입력받는 입력버퍼부와, 상기입력버퍼로부터 출력되는 신호가 허용 편심량 범위를 넘어서면 이를 클리핑하는 클리핑부와, 상기 클리핑부의 출력 및 입력버퍼부의 출력을 인가받아 이를 가산하는 가산기와, 상기 가산기의 출력에 따라 슬레드 모터를 구동하는 모터 구동부로 구성함으로써, DVD를 사용하여 광픽업장치의 대물렌즈가 반경방향으로 이동하는 경우에는 검출된 신호가 허용 편심량범위를 완전히 벗어난 큰 AC 신호가 되므로 이때는 슬레드 모터를 그 신호에 대해 둔감하게 작용하도록 하고, 디스크의 편심에 의한 경우에는 원래의 트래킹 에러신호에 클리핑된 신호를 역 극상으로 가산함으로써 이 신호에 의해 슬리드 모터를 제어하게 되어 안정된 스레드 제어가 되도록 하는 효과가 있게 된다.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1.
