Abstract
The present invention relates to a metallotionein protein induced from tobacco, wherein a metallothionein protein, which is induced by expression of a wild-type tobacco by a plant pathogen or a physical injury, And it can be used as a marker to investigate the defense mechanism against the injury to the plant, so that the development of the plant resistant to the stress and the biological treatment thereof will be possible.
Description
Since this is a trivial issue, I did not include the contents of the text.
FIG. 1 shows the nucleotide sequence of the metallothionein gene isolated from the disease-resistant wild-type tobacco (Nicotiana giutinosa). FIG. 2 (A) shows the nucleotide sequence of the mast cell virus infection and wound- (B) shows the results of (A) in terms of time, FIG. 3 shows the results obtained by isolating the wild type tobacco (A) and the cultivated tobacco (B) with genomic DNA 4 shows the induction and expression of metallothionein gene by copper (CuSO 4 ), salicylic acid, methyl-jasmonate and ethylene. The results are as follows.
