Abstract

본 발명은 폴리클로리네이티드바이페닐(Poly Chlorinated Biphenyl : 이하, PCB라 함)폐기물 처리방법에 관한 것으로서, 특히 플라즈마(Plasma)를 이용하여 PCB를 완전히 분해하고, 분해중 발생하는 개스(Gas)를 중화시켜 무해화 처리를 하는 플라즈마를 이용한 PCB처리방법에 관한 것이다. 반응로 상부에서 플라즈마의 불꽃에 PCB폐기물을 공급하고, 과열수증기를 분사하여 PCB폐기물을 화학적으로 분해하여 분해가스를 생성시킨다. 이 분해가스를 반응로 저부에 연결된 볼텔스압소버에 유입시켜 알칼리용액과 반응하게함으로써, 분해 가스의 성분중 유독한 성분을 제거하여 무해화처리시킨다. 이와 같은, PCB폐기물 처리방법은 PCB폐기물을 플라즈마열과 과열수증기로 완전분해하여 알칼리용액으로 무해화처리되는 효과를 갖는다.The present invention relates to a method of treating polychlorinated biphenyl (hereinafter referred to as PCB) waste, and more particularly, to a method of completely decomposing a PCB using a plasma to remove a gas generated during decomposition The present invention relates to a PCB processing method using a plasma for neutralization and detoxification.
