Abstract

The call processor communicates with one or more switching processor means to control the setting of the call. Call features are handled under the control of the call processor. According to the present invention, any call processor can be used to service any call in the network, and there is an advantage that it can eliminate all the legs of a multi-leg connection. have. In large networks, the number of platforms can be significantly smaller than the number of switches, which has the advantage of reducing the management costs and complexity of the network.
