Abstract
본 발명은 코드분할 다중 접속 시스템(CDMA)을 채용한 이동 통신 환경에서 수신 신호의 신호 대 간섭비(SIR)를 측정하는 장치 및 그 방법에 관한 것으로, 신호를 수신하여 역확산한 후에 이동체의 최대 도플러 주기에 가까운 값으로 적분을 수행하여 간섭 성분이 제거된 신호 성분의 크기를 구한 다음에 심볼 단위로 적분한 신호의 평균 전력 크기에서 도플러 주기만큼 적분한 신호의 전력 크기를 감하여 간섭 신호의 전력 크기를 구하여 신호 대 간섭비를 구함으로써, 고가의 정밀한 자동 이동 이득 제어기를 사용하지 않고도 보다 정확한 신호 대 간섭비를 측정할 수 있으므로 수신기 비용을 절감할 수 있는 경제적인 효과가 있고, 또한 본 발명을 전력 제어에 적용하면 단순한 수신 신호 전력 기준의 전력 제어보다 신호 대 간섭비 기준의 전럭 제어를 수행할 수 있어 시스템의 성능을 향상시킬 수 있는 효과가 있다.The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for measuring a signal-to-interference ratio (SIR) of a received signal in a mobile communication environment employing a code division multiple access system (CDMA) Doppler period is integrated to obtain the magnitude of the signal component from which the interference component has been removed, and then the power magnitude of the signal integrated by the Doppler period is subtracted from the average power magnitude of the signal integrated in the symbol unit, The signal-to-interference ratio can be obtained.
