본 발명은 시스템 부호화시, 복호화기에서 정확한 PCR값을 근거로 하여 모든 데이타를 복호화하고 재생할 수 있도록 된 MPEG 전송스트림 인코더에서 PTS 조절장치에 관한 것으로, 이를 해결하기 위하여, 시스템 인코딩시 복호화기에서 PTS 값을 기준으로 하여 데이타를 복호화하고 재생하는 조절장치에 있어서, 엘리멘트 스트림 디코더(51)로부터 출력되는 엘리멘트 스트림을 전송 스트림으로 인코딩 변환하여 출력하는 시스템 인코더(52)(53)와; 상기 시스템 인코더(52)(53)의 출력을 전송채널로 전달하는 전송버퍼(54)와; 상기 전송버퍼(54)의 상태에 따라 PCR 데이타 값을 제공하는 인코더 클럭시스템(55)과; PTS 요구신호와 상기 인코더 클럭시스템(55)의 PCR 데이타에 의거하여 새로운 PCR 데이타를 상기 시스템 인코더의 전송패킷 타이저(53)로 제공하는 PCR 계산부(56)를 포함함으로써 종래의 인코더에서 PCR의 값이 제대로 계산되지 않으면, 디코더 시스템에서 시간 기준값을 제대로 복원하지 못하므로 디코더 시스템 전체가 불안해지는 단점을 해결하였다.The present invention relates to an apparatus for controlling a PTS in an MPEG transport stream encoder that can decode and reproduce all data based on an accurate PCR value in a decoder during system encoding.
