본 발명은 서로 다른 타입의 프로토콜을 사용하는 시스템 간의 통신을 원활히 하기 위하여, 프레임 컨트롤 영역과, 듀레이션/아이디 영역과, 제 1 어드레스 영역과, 제 2 어드레스 영역과, 제 3 어드레스 영역과, 시퀀스 컨트롤 영역과, 제 4 어드레스 영역과, 프레임 바디 영역과, 씨알씨 영역을 구비하는 프로토콜의 맥 프레임 구조에, 정합되는 다른 프로토콜의 타입을 구별할 수 있는 정보를 저장할 타입 영역을 포함시켜 구현한 무선통신 프로토콜의 맥 프레임 구조에 관한 기술이다.

  1. 프레임 컨트롤 영역과, 듀레이션/아이디 영역과, 제 1 어드레스 영역과, 제 2 어드레스 영역과, 제 3 어드레스 영역과, 시퀀스 컨트롤 영역과, 제 4 어드레스 영역과, 프레임 바디 영역과, 씨알씨 영역을 구비하는 프로토콜의 맥 프레임 구조에, 통신시에 정합되는 다른 프로토콜의 타입을 구별할 수 있는 정보를 저장할 타입 영역을 포함시켜 구현한 것을 특징으로 하는 무선통신 프로토콜의 맥 프레임 구조.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 타입 영역으로 2 바이트를 할당하는 것을 특징으로 하는 무선통신 프로토콜의 맥 프레임 구조.
